Great video showing comparison of various light sources

20 February 2015 - 04:02 PM

I finally went LED's on my boat.  First attempt adding lights for the hunt.  I decided on LED's and after receiveing the light bar I found this video.

For anyone looking for a little more info on lights and would like to have them with out the noise of a genny, check out the attached youtube video.

Eyourlite 52" LED 30,000 Lumena light bar

19 February 2015 - 02:18 PM

Finally pulled the trigger on a light bar.   After looking at all the choices I decided on the Eyourlite.

132.00 on Amazon.  They had smaller light bars that would be easier to mount on my 17 ' center console.

But when it came to pricing and the amount of light it was a no brainer to go with the 52" light bar.

Main thing I think I need is more light, right?  Is it possible to have too much light?

Hit the order button twice by mistake ( wife caught that).  Might end up mounting both:)  Wonder how long my 24v system will power two of them?

If I run it 24v I can tie into my trolling motor 24V system and use a disconnect plug when I don't need the

light bar in may way.

Fingers crossed that it puts out the light we need with out the roar of the genny.

Aim low and let it go!

New reel for an old bow

04 February 2015 - 06:40 PM

I've been using a youth compound bow set at 30lbs with an AMS reel.,  Great set up, light and it drills carp and Garr

Academy had their Game Winner package deal on sale for 31.00 normally 75.00 retail.  Got reel, reel seat, arrow, and arrow rest.  Only concern is the fact it's not idiot proof like my AMS.  You forget to push the button on the reel and you swim for your arrow.

Any thoughts or experience on the Game Winner.

Thanks,

Roy
