 You have lots of power in those 50 watt lights the further you get them above the water the more light you get into the water .

 HID are great for driving but most don't use them for bowfishing.  50 watt LED in Warm white or cool white are most popular for good reason. If you shoot in more stained / cloudy water warm white might be better if you have calm clear water cool whites are pretty sweet.

 2 group 27 deep cycles will last about 6 hours 2 group 31 AGM will last about 8 with 8 to 9 50 watt LED lights wired in a 24 volt configuration
